PROFILE

Allison Foltz Milmoe is a freelance art director and graphic designer with over nine years
in editorial design and a total of 13 years in magazine publishing. She has worked
on a wide range of subjects: news, sports, health, fashion, finance, and lifestyle,
to name a few. In addition to publications, Allison contributes her talent to newsletters,
brochures, direct mail, collateral, and identities.

With ten years of professional experience hiring talent, Allison has an extensive worldwide database of photographers and illustrators. She has directed dozens of studio and location shoots and worked closely with all levels of editors, prop stylists, hair and make-up artists, producers, and designers. She also regularly styles still lifes for product stories.

Allison began her publishing career in 1994 with a three-year stint in editorial production at Hearst Magazines. Here she upheld Country Living’s 100% on-time-to-press success rate and had hands-on experience with all phases of the editorial flow, from creating schedules to correcting color to attending press okays. After her first year and a promotion, Allison was brought on as production manager for the launch of its sister title, Healthy Living.

After growing up in the Buckeye State, Allison spent over a decade in the Empire, and then—eureka!—found Golden.
